SORRY, BUT THE ONLINE SEED ORDER FORM WILL NOT BE OFFERED IN FALL 2025. PLEASE SEE BELOW.
We are currently unable to open our normal seed order program. Our supplies have been depleted due to large events. Stay tuned and we may be able to reopen this fall.
You are welcome to email us (see email at the bottom of the page) and request showy, swamp, and/or narrow-leaf milkweed seeds. Please provide your complete mailing address. We will fill requests on a first-come, first-served basis as seeds are ready for mailing.
NOTE: In April 2026, we will have 3,000 milkweed seedlings to give away for FREE (showy, swamp, antelope-horn). Distribution sites will range from Logan to St. George, and hopefully from Vernal to Tooele. Stay tuned here or on our Facebook Group!
Late fall is the best and easiest time to sow milkweed seeds outside, whether in the ground or in pots.
Cover the seeds with 1/4" of soil. The cold, wet weather over the winter helps to break down the tough shells, enabling the seeds to germinate when temperatures warm in the spring.
Mark your seed locations. Watch for signs of sprouting beginning in April through June, depending on the location in Utah. The first few monarchs arrive in Utah early May, laying eggs that will hatch in June, and that cycle repeats itself every three weeks or so.
